Chuck Shumer: I support you. Despite you doing nothing.

The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from al Qaeda said to these tribes we have to fight al Qaeda ourselves. It wasn't that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords took peace here, created a temporary peace here. And that is because there was no one else there protecting."

 

I nearly lost my mind when I heard this from Shumer today. I find it a sick political statement. So tell me Chuck if the troops are not doing anything for the tribes of Iraqis then what are they doing. Oh yes according to Brian DePama they are raping and murdering 14 year old girls.

"The movie is an attempt to bring the reality of what is happening in Iraq to the American people," he told reporters after a press screening. 

Do tell Brian, how often is it happening It's amazing to me that someone can say these things about our troops. DePalma will probably get an Oscar.

 Shumer paints our troops as being lazy and not willing to protect Iraqis. What a load of crap. I'd like to see Shumer stand in front of the troops and tell them that they are not doing anything in Iraq. Yes the idiot was trying to point the finger at the president. Maybe  he'll come out tommorow and say he was making a joke at the presidents expense and was not in anyway meant as a slan against the troops. I fully support the troops.

I thought the pupose was to have the Iraqis stand up for themselves. But when they do it he can still find a way to make it a bad thing and his way of doing it was to attack our troops. Tell us again how you support the troops Chuck? I think that Shumer should go before the troops in Iraq and tell them to their faces and tell them that they are not doing their jobs and are allowing Iraqis to be killed.

So what do you think is he right are our troops doing nothing?
