Artie Lange walks off Howard Stern Show

Mich - I can't believe I missed the outburst. I'm hoping I time my commute home just right so that I can hear it in the rerun. This is so sad, I love Artie... but he's having a breakdown!

I think Artie will be back on the show, or at least I hope so. Artie is a vital part of the show. I don't think Sirius should take any action but rather the staff of the show. We all know how he is and frankly that's why we like him.

For what it's worth, I thought the fight was HYSTERICAL until it got physical. I love hearing Artie go off!

Artie and Teddy will make up, I bet my life savings on it.

Well this is not at all what I thought it would be. I was all prepared to hear yet another horrendous, outrageous story on the infamous HS. Ready to hear and ignore yet another tale of some disgusting HS offense.

Clearly, HS's reputation precedes him.

I can't comment on this hoopla, but HS is lucky to have a loyal fan like you.

I'm sure Artie'll be back... I dunno about him making up with his assistant, but... the show must go on, ya know? I've always enjoyed Artie on the show.

Artie needs to get help before returning to the show. Today's outburst as well as him sleeping in the studio yesterday is unbelievable. It is great radio but he really really needs help. I love Artie and do not want to see him leave the show because of something so silly. Save the baby guerilla!

Artie is in Amsterdam for Jason's bachelor party. Artie and Teddy made eye contact on the plane. It will be interesting to hear what happens. I hope Artie doesn't over do it in Amsterdam.

Good point deb...I'm worried about Artie's overall well being. I have a feeling he'll be smoking alot of funny cigarettes in coffee shops all over Amsterdam.

I have not heard Howard Stern since my cable television subscription ended, and Howard went to satellite radio. I will offer this: I met Howard once, at the Manchester bus terminal on Granite Street here, and we nearly came to blows like Artie and Teddy did in the studio. Howard was being very obnoxious, loudmouthed, and bullying. Suddenly, I recognized in him, some kind of moneymaker mouth for humor, that derives possibly from Howard's similarly overbearing Father. I was able to meet those Boston based national public radio guys, Click and Clack, years ago, and in my banter with them, recognize their show biz potential. To be fair, they had their radio show before I met them, and Howard Stern was on the air in Boston before I met him, too. But now Car Talk is syndicated nationwide, and Howard Stern is making megamillions of his own on the radio. I wonder if Howard has any memory of how I almost kicked his tail. A similar incident happened between me and David Caruso on just about the same piece of sidewalk, when he impersonated a Manchester police officer to me, and caused me to become rather angry. He did this in the presence of his erstwhile costar, who I asked, "Are you with him?" to which he demurred, seeing how upset I was. That was just before their first season of that ABC police show set in New York City, and before Caruso's Hollywood movie career, and long before he got his new gig as Miami police inspector H____ on that syndicated TV Police Show that followed. He has a guy costarring on that show with him, that kinda looks like me, quite frankly. I think David Caruso remembers me, too, and continues to come to terms with the memory. Another couple I met years ago, on a bus ride between Boston and Manchester, was the dating duo from That Seventies Show. I was so enamored of her beauty, that I started a conversation with her, and actually tried hitting on her. She asked me, "Why?" and just said, she had a wholesome, friendiness that I found extremely appealing. She thought I had already seen her TV show, and could not believe it when I told her I had never seen her before. Now, she and her TV show are very familiar to New England viewers, as it airs on TV 50 in Derry/Boston all the time. What is her name? Donna, in the show.

Big Howard Stern Fan here too! We went to the same summer camp. Didn't know him though. :=(
