Today in Missoula, Montana I saw a toddler left...

she was parked illegally on the corner of pine and higgins in Missoula montana , her toddler sat alone in an unlocked open windows

silver SUV with montana plates for ten minutes. I was astounded as i watched people go by glancing in the window and then continuing on their merry way.

I called the Missoula police department who was more interested in my name then sending out a squad car. After about ten minutes maybe, the mom reappeared and got into her car and drove away.

KPAX TV car passed by 2 times and was oblivious to the child. Of Course if this parent was native American or Hispanic, Black. They would have been arrested. But not a white wealthy mom in whitelandia.

It is a sad statement on parenting

I have seen many stories of a baby or small child being left in a car, the parent, a Hispanic or Black American, is always arrested and the child is taken into protective custody. I saw a story in which an Anglo mother left her child in her vehicle with the windows rolled up and it being over 100 degrees outside. The child died and yet the mother was not prosecuted for anything.

There is a double standard.
