...but fired for the right one. But I'll get to that in a minute.
First of all, Christine is not a last name. It's a stripper last name. Would you hire a 20-year-old bombshell named Amber Chastity for any job and not expect her to reveal her goods for cash at some point? How about Jazmin Chloe? Jaime-Jo Destyni? The sex-industry-ready name should have been the first red flag for Casa Robles High School before they hired her to coach their cheerleading squad.
It wouldn't have been hard to learn about Christine's modeling. Before today's flood of news articles about her, a Google search would have easily revealed her MySpace and Model Mayhem pages. The latter shows her nude photos, for chrissakes! Although, it should be noted that Christine seems to have done the nude shoot while she was employed by Casa Robles - not before. The photos were posted by Playboy in February 2009. She was presumably fired very recently, although I didn't catch that detail in any other news article.
I find it hard to believe that these photos were only first "discovered" when a group of girls who were rejected from joining the team (along with their vicariously rejected mothers) suddenly had a reason to strike back and soothe their hurt feelings. There were people who knew about this and tolerated it before Carlie Christine made enemies. And that's how/why she was outed - after those girls were denied their desire to join the squad, their parents made copies of the photos and sent them to the principal.
Now yes, I must concede that it was right that Christine was fired. Even though she didn't sleep with a student, or take pictures of her engaging in anything sexual, it was completely careless of her to consent to being a "Cyber Girl of the Week" for Playboy's website. She was asking to get fired for making her nude self so easily available on the web.
My problem is with the parents for whom spite was their obvious motive for tattling.
