Sharon Tate was an American actress in the 1960's.
She played small roles for television before landing in the movies.
Her looks received more attention than her roles, although Sharon did quite well as an actress.
Her films included Eye of the Devil, The Fearless Vampire Killers and Valley of the Dolls.
She received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Valley of the Dolls in 1967.
Sharon was married to film director Roman Polanski and was eight and a half months pregnant when she and four others were murdered on August 9, 1969, by followers of Charles Manson.
Two others were murdered by members of Manson's "family" the next night.
The seven murders are to this day, among the most gruesome in American history.
Sharon Tate was 26 years old.
It was a horrible end for a beautiful woman.
I hope they give a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to this wonderful person who should have had many, many years ahead of her.
Thank you.

I've always been fascinated by Sharon Tate. Maybe it is because she seemed to "have it all", and then everything was taken away. Maybe it shows that no one is really safe. And the horror of Charles Manson just never fades. He is every bit as evil today as he was years ago. And he's never shown regret. I guess he'll be meeting up with his kind in hell. That doesn't make me feel good to say, but I believe it is true.
But, manson, had ties to drug dealers, and the mafia. He got paid to kill all that was there at the party. It seemed that at least 3 people owed this dealer many thousands. As well as the couple killed later.
The butchery at both killings will keep them in jail until they die.
