Danyl Johnson video - Awesome or overrated?

Does Danyl Johnson have "it"? Simon Cowell seems to think so.

On Britain's version of American Idol, The X-Factor, Danyl Johnson took on The Beatles hit, "With a Little Help from My Friends". Johnson's version though was more like Joe Crocker's cover.

Danyl Johnson did an exceptional job, but quite frankly, I think it's a bit overrated and doesn't deserve all the exposure it's getting. Sure, Danyl is talented, but let's keep in mind that the band and the backup singers are a BIG part of making this song really work. He had an excellent song choice, but I don't think he's going to be the next Susan Boyle. Speaking of which, it wouldn't surprise me if the producers of The X-Factor have been working hard to try to make it become a viral video. If so, it seems they're reaching their goal because Danyl Johnson is all over the web.

Despite my criticisms, Simon Cowell absolutely loved it and gave him a standing-O. How funny, because on American Idol, unless the person makes the song completely original and their own, Simon tends to complain.

Definitely not overrated. The guy has real talent. He took a classic song by a famous group, and made it his own. If he had an album out, I would buy it. Definite star factor here.

That's the first time I've seen this and he is awesome!! He could go far in this competition. It's a good thing he isn't on America's Got Talent. Those moron judges would send him home and pick a frisbee dropping dog or guitar juggler through to the next round. Maybe someday, Ciana Pelekei will be on American Idol and win it. I love great singers. This Danyl is the real deal, talent and personality!!

I saw it...I really like him. but i dont think it is worth all this hype! this guy is really good, this is my opinion, and then again, I never really had a big taste for music, haha. who knows, maybe he might be the NEXt BIg THING!!! :)

If you loved the incredible voice that came out of Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle, then you're going to love Danyl Johnson. The Danyl Johnson video could be his ticket to stardom. After his appearance on X Factor, it's no wonder people are looking for Danyl Johnson video. Part of the buzz of Danyl Johnson and the Danyl Johnson video of course is the glowing praise that was given to Danyl by Simon Cowell, who is normally known for harping on contestants mercilessly, and rumors of assaulting old women and stealing their purses. He is quickly being compared with Susan Boyle, who blew up the internet and TV airwaves with her incredible performances on Britain's Got Talent, who drew high praise from the judges and people world wide. He's employed as a teacher, and young enough to need credit counseling.
