During his speech tonight on Health Care Reform, the President continued to refer to "my plan" and "the plan" which contains many wonderful features that he presented, as he has done over and over. Unfortunately, no member of the public has seen "his plan".
"His plan" has not been published anywhere that I am aware of, even after months of debate and some 29 or 30 presidential speeches on the subject. I find that hard to believe, and at this point I wonder if "his plan" even exists.
We have learned from our government that "the devil is in the details", and have learned not to trust our government when those details are not known. So, it is reasonable to ask, Mr. President, "Show us the plan." Because what you are telling us is in "your plan" bears little resemblance to the bills that are now in Congress.
Mr. President, "Show us your plan!"
