Back in 1977 Roman Polanski had sex with a 13 year old girl in the United States. He fled the country, and has been free. He was arrested in Sweden for extradiction to the United States finally. He is now 76. Better late than never. He was going to accept an award. I think he finally got his award.
Roman Polanski was the husband of Sharon Tate who was brutally murdered by Charles Mason and his followers. It is said that Manson was inspired by Polanski's director talents in the making of MacBeth.

Personally, I think it took them far too long to catch his ass. Now I hope he goes to jail.
NOW HE SHOULD GO TO JAIL!
He actually pled guilty to the charges and THEN fled when he found out he would have to go to jail, what a looser! He could have served his time and this would have been behind him!
Remember he left the body of his wife and child in the ground HERE! Imagine being in prison with the same people that slaughtered his own family!

Lee says: Yeah ... not too much sympathy for someone who drugs then rapes a little girl when he was at least 3x older than she.
Too bad too sad for him if he'd had to be in the same jail with them.

He fled before the sentencing because he found out the presiding Judge was NOT going to go along with the plea bargain he had been offered but was going to sentence him to the MAX as to make him an example to 'Hollywood' types!

But now that I am reminded, my opinion is that is not a mother (or maybe mother should be spelled differently in her case ... something beginning with a 'p' and ending the same way, with a 'p'). I think maybe you feel similarly?

Better to go back and check on the facts of this case................the girls mother actually delivered her 13 year old child to him for 'photo sessions'. I do not condone nor excuse what part he played but the mother needed to share some responsibility for putting the child in a dangerous situation.
