Along with the Playstation Portable (Sony PSP), the Nintendo DS Lite is one of the most requested handheld video game systems on the planet. The DS Lite features a dual screen video gaming console that fits easily in one's hands and allows for all sorts of cool games and fun applications to be used. They had a Nintendo DS Lite Black Friday deal on these for $98 each at Walmart, available in the colors red, pink, black or white, with a DS Lite Starter Kit for an additional $10. If you were able to pick one up on Black Friday, feel free to comment below.
Your next best bet to snatch up one of these cool video game devices would be to get the Nintendo DS Lite at Amazon.com. At Amazon they start at just $94 used and around $124 new, which is several bucks more than Walmart's in-store sale for Black Friday was. The Nintendo DS Lites at Amazon differ by price based on which color you select, with Metallic Rose ($124.50) the lowest price and the Pink the highest price ($155). There's also a Green Spring bundle available for $187. Several models are listed new for $129.99. Games and accessories will be extra.
You can also check Gamestop, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target and other local video game retailers in your area or online. Don't fret as you don't necessarily have to buy a Nintendo DS Lite on Black Friday, because they should be in stock through Christmas 2009.
More info: The DS Lite portable video game system is a nifty handheld which includes a stylus pen much like the Palm pilot. It's Wi-fi compatible, allowing for head-to-head game play with other DS Lite users nearby or around the globe, plus it allows for chatting. New applications are being launched for it almost daily. Popular games include Super Mario Brothers, as well as "Brain Age" which is a way to train your brain in several minutes each day. The DS Lite has an additional port which allows it to play Game Boy Advance Game Paks. Complete with a powerful processor and 3D graphics on a ultra bright LCD screen, it will give you 19 hours of stunning and entertaining gameplay on one single charge!
