Tiger Woods Update - Angry Wife, Sponsors and Mother!

Tiger Woods is far from being out of the clear yet.  Although new mistresses haven’t been stepping forward the last few days, the saga continues.  Tiger is not only dealing with trying to save his marriage with Elin, but he faces sponsors taking a step back and now his mother is angry!

A family friend told People Magazine that she is “hurt, angry and disappointed in Tiger.”  The friend also stated, “She wants to know how he could do this to his family.”  The news to Tiger’s mother was devastating to her and she is currently trying to get through everything that has happened.  She likes Elin and loves her grandchildren.  “She’s worried about them.  She doesn’t want to see them get hurt”, says the family friend to People Magazine.

Woods has not been making any public appearances so far.  He is staying with a friend and will be spending the holidays on his 135 foot yacht named Privacy.  His friend stated to People Magazine, “He's devastated about everything he has lost.  He'll go through some dark times. It's going to be a lonely Christmas for him."  Us Weekly reported Tiger hits golf balls in the dark to clear his head.

Sources report that Tiger is “doing everything he can to save his marriage.”  He and wife Elin are supposedly going to therapy but Elin has no plans to stay with Tiger.

As far as sponsor support for Tiger, the latest news is Swiss watchmaker, Tag Heuer announced they will ‘downscale the use of his image’ while Tiger is taking a break from golf.  They will respect Tiger’s privacy by modifying his role in the company.  Tiger Woods has been with Tag Heuer since 2002.

Gillette said Woods will have a ‘limited’ role in the company, AT&T is ‘evaluating their relationship’, and Nike is standing by Tiger Woods.
