December jobs report for 2009 was released by the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics. What does the December jobs report say about the end of 2009? The December jobs report shows more jobs lost.
According to the BLS December job report, nonfarm payroll employment was down by 85,000 jobs. The unemployment rate is 10 percent. The number of people unemployed are 15.3 million. A total of 6.1 million were unemployed for 27 weeks or longer.
I think the December jobs report is alarming with ongoing job losses and an unemployment rate continuing at 10 percent. What do you think of the December jobs report and our hopes for 2010?
Remember the good old days? Here's a YouTube Video of The Silhouettes singing "Get A Job"...now if only there were jobs...Â

I am hopeful things will pick up. We will have to do things different is all.
Over the mountain on the west side of Oregon a Hispanic organization got a million dollar grant or something rather (a lot of money) to teach the Hispanic farmers to grow organic.
The hope is to save money on chemical usage, get everyone growing organic.
I sure hope the idea spreads out further then just the Hispanic community!
