What is this so-called Christian, Pat Robertson is saying, that the people living in the 1800s should have remained slaves and not rebelled and fight for their freedom from the French oppressors, who held them in bondage? The early US fought for their freedom against the British during that same time period, so should we suffer the same fate, too? How can you advocate equality with one group and not another? Hypocrite!

You know...I never really get into this with people but, you do understand this isn't some glorious f%$^%@ abstraction right? First off, it is natural for natural disaster to occur. hence why they are called natural disasters and can occur anywhere affecting everyone. The people of Haiti have seen the greatest sorrow of their time, but through this, God has made them stronger. They WILL rise above this and Gods love will show them the true importance in life. God only puts us though what he knows we can handle. the people of Haiti are stronger then "Mr. Pat" will ever be because of what they have endured. This event also shows how ppl are willing to respond to such events. Let Robertson believe what he wants and live his life to his believes. the true irony is that the people he clames are cursed god will show love in countless ways, more then he would ever experience.

I don't get how a "Man of GOD" can sit there and say, "Haiti deserved it." That's not taking the statement out of context. That was what was said. Well over 200,000 people lost their lives and the best that, Pat Robertson can come up with is, they deserved it.
