There's a new Joran van der Sloot confession in the Natalie Holloway case. Van der Sloot confessed one time already in 2007, claiming he was responsible for disposing of Natalee Holloway's body in the sea. Just last year a reality star friend of Van der Sloot's captured his second confession on camera, with Van der Sloot claiming he disposed of Holloway's body in a marsh in Aruba.
The Holloway disappearance and case dates back to 2005 and remains unsolved. She went missing in May of 2005 while part of a high school graduation trip to Aruba. Holloway's parents enlisted the help of the media to try to get answers in their daugter's disappearance and the search efforts. Joran van der Sloot became one of the prime suspects in the case, but he was non-talkative at first, and it was believed his father was assisting in covering up details of the case. Paulus Van der Sloot passed away just two weeks ago on a tennis court at age 57.
Investigators noted they started a new investigation upon hearing the new Joran Van der Sloot confession regarding the Natalie Holloway case in August 2009. However, they have reason to believe the confession is not credible even though it provides detail similar to his 2007 confession. Investigators reported to a Dutch TV station that the confession is "held together by lies and fantasy".
