Corned Beef and Cabbage Crock Pot Recipe
3 pound corned beef brisket with seasoning packet
6 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
6 medium red potatoes, quartered
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
1 small head of cabbage, cut into wedges
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
Place brisket in slow cooker or crock pot. Arrange vegetables around beef, sprinkle with seasoning packet. Stir together apple cider, sugar and mustard. Pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours until meat is fork tender.
