Natalee Holloway Remains Found?

A skeleton was found in in the waters off Aruba that could possibly be Natalee Holloway's remains. The teenager went missing in Aruba in May of 2005.

The possible Natalee Hollway remains were filmed by a scuba diver and his wife in Aruba. The film was given to the FBI back in October of 2009 and news of it has just recently been leaked to the media.

The divers who discovered the possible Natalee Holloway remains are from Pennsylvania; John and Patti Muldowney.

Joran van der Sloot has confessed a couple of different times to killing Natalee Holloway, or to being with her at the time of her death, yet there has been no evidence to link him to the crime. Could the discovery of Natalee Holloway's remains help implicate van der Sloot?

I hope, in the light of the pain suffered by Natalee Holloway's family members, that they do in fact determine that her remains have been found. This will allow them to finally lay their daughter to rest after all of this time.

I hope that the finding of Natalee Holloway's remains lands Joran van der Sloot in prison for the rest of his life.

I doubt there'd be much forensic evidence left to work with. And the guy's lied so many times his "confession" would be worthless.

You said ... As sad as it is I really hope these are her remains that way her family can get a little bit of peace and start to work towards closure.

I heard about this. There might not be evidence of what happened to her with only a skeleton left, but they can tell if it is her with dna tests/dental records. I think if it is her, they would definately be able to move forward with a manslaughter charge at the very least. He is now claiming it was an accident, she fell but if that was the case he should have got her help, not got rid of her body....I think he would be convicted and if the other boys with him that night were charged, they might turn on him and talk.

Why are there no more details if it has been that long since the skeleton was found? Has it been recovered yet?

I hope this is her body, although of course I would prefer she would be found alive. But, if she is dead, the parents can put her to rest and perhaps find some peace.
