Ann Coulter, conservative extremist, was forced to cancel a scheduled speech at the University of Ottawa in Canada because Coulter had received threats and the sponsors of Coulter's appearance received angry demonstrations.
Ezra Levant who was suppose to introduce Coulter said, "There was a risk there could be physical violence (making) a situation the security and police advised was untenable for safety reasons."
Coulter's tactful response as usual generated a lot of buzz in itself. She said, "It's at the absolute bush league, bottom of the barrel schools that you get the worst treatment and yet and still I've never seen this before... I'm guessing the scores to get into the University of Ottawa are not very challenging"
Why am I not surprised? Coulter has time and again said things that made me wonder how she'd lived so long without getting pummeled. Her comment about the September 11 wives and about Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin are only a few examples of how when Coulter opens her mouth people will most likely be left angry.
Seriously, there's really no need to stoop down to such a level and talk trash about an entire school just because a few dislike you! Then again, it's her harsh way that gets her paid so more power to her, if she doesn't shock then she will disappear into nothingness.
