Breaking News: Consumers need to pay attention to what they purchase online. Pizza Hut is currently offering a family special for their pizza at $21.99 plus tax, but when you place the order online at Pizzahut.com... low and behold you are charged $26.48 before tax and delivery. What a rip-off. Order some bread stickes from Pizza Hut and get overcharged. Mystery charges of $1-5 have been added with no accounting for what they are for. (This is prior to any delivery charge or tax)
When Pizza Hut was contacted about their computer glitch in their online ordering a response from their customer service representative was that "they would look into it and perhaps have it fixed by Monday."
Pizza Hut, waiting until Monday? Perhaps it is a coincidence that they are over charging for pizza during the Final Four of the NCAA basketball tournament. It makes Pizza Hut look like they are just taking advantage of the situation and ripping off customers.
