Nadia Bloom is an 11 year old girl who was found Tuesday after having disappeared in the woods near her Orlando home on Friday. Fox News reports that the little girl has Asperger’s syndrome.
When Nadia Bloom left the home she was carrying a book call Lanie, which is about a girl who loves the outdoors life and decided to camp in her own backyard. Nadia Bloom also left home the same day that her sister and father went on a Brownie trip to the Everglades.
When the Winter Springs police department found Nadia Bloom, they said that she was dehydrated and covered with mosquito bites, but uninjured. The K-9 dogs had tracked Nadia’s scent into the woods near Lake Jesup. Police teams used heat seeding radars to search her out in the deep woods.
Fortunately, Nadia Bloom is home and safe and I doubt she will be heading to the outdoors for awhile now. Poor sweetheart!
