False rumors have come up on the internet that Bret Michaels daughter died. Michaels is currently a contestant on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. However, according to NYDailyNews, Michaels was recently hospitalized. The former Poison singer was recently experiencing bad stomach pains. He tried to ignore them thinking he had a bad case of the flu, but ended up canceling a concert in San Antonio, then getting rushed over to a hospital. Turns out Michaels had accute appendicitis and needed emergency surgery.
According to a rep for Michaels, the singer is doing well and is now in the recovery process. Michaels currently deals with his medical condition of Type 1 diabetes. At age 47 he's vigilant about checking his blood sugar 6-8 times a day, and giving himself insulin shots. Michaels' rep added that most likely many more concert dates scheduled for Michaels in April will be rescheduled due to the singer's health situation.
It's unclear where the Bret Michaels daughter died rumors started from, although someone may have seen the report about Michaels rushing to a hospital mixed up with some other news. Michaels has two daughters by former girlfriend Kristi Lynn Gibson, Raine Elizabeth Sychak, who was born on May 20, 2000, and Jorja Bleu Sychak in 2005. As of right now, Michaels' two daughters have not been reported as dead by any major media source.
