Jack Herer known as the Hemperor because of his fight to legalized marijuana in the United States died today at age 70.
Jack Herer died of a massive heath attack this morning. Jack Herer became known as the Hemperor because of his book hailing cannabis called, "The Emperor Has No Clothes." The book according to Jack Herer sold 600,000 copies, and was a sort of canon to the cause of legalizing marijuana.
Jack Herer found success difficult to come by, but Herer has a loyal following. Jack Herer's cause was to raise awareness of the b
enefits of cannabis and he had a particularly virulent strain.Â
Herer, the Hemperor as he had come to be known, was unsuccessful convincing the masses, but does have a large following in states such as California where medicinal marijuana is legal if prescribed by a doctor, and it doesn't take much convincing in California to get a prescription but it is still illegal on the national level.Â
Jack Herer argued for not only the medicinal but the econmic good that legalizning marijuana would have. While I don't agree with Mr. Herer, I grieve for his family's loss.
