Is John Edwards in exile? It appears so. A legal courier is desperately trying to serve him with court papers. The papers would compel Edwards to give sworn testimony in his mistress’s Rielle Hunter’s lawsuit against former Edwards aide Andrew Young.
Edwards was last seen publicly in Haiti in January. Since then, he has disappeared. Very few people have seen or heard from Edwards during the past two months. Even his lawyers aren’t returning calls or accepting the papers.
Edwards’ exile appears to be self-imposed. It is a lonely life for him in part because he has few real friends. Edwards appears as if he is at a complete loss with what to do with his life now that he can’t be in politics.
It seems like life is not all roses after her finally admitted to having a mistress and a child. I’m not surprised. Honestly, I don’t think that John Edwards should get to live happily ever after while Elizabeth Edwards suffers and dies of cancer. It wouldn’t be right. There’s no word on where Rielle Hunter or the baby is. The last I saw of her was on Oprah.
