An unidentified woman who was rushing to her wedding was involved in a car crash with, of all things, a duck boat and left the scene before she could be interviewed by police in busy downtown Boston today.
Two other women who were in the car stayed behind and dealt with police while explaining to the cops the Bride to be did not want to miss her wedding. They were released by police at the scene.
According to eyewitness reports published by Boston.com,  the driver of a Honda zipped in between lanes on the busy street without signalling as she hurried with the friend to get to the ceremony. That's when she hit a duck boat on a trailer in the left hand lane and totaled her car.
The duck boat was on a trailer heading for a nearby boat dock with 32 passengers on board. The boat and trailer were to be lowered into Boston Harbor for a duck sightseeing tour, a very normal occurrence in Boston. The duck boat and trailer were not damaged and none of the tourists on board were injured. Police allowed the duck boat to continue on its way to the tour soon after clearing the accident scene.
That leads to one question though. Did anyone yell "Duck!!!"
