Just this weekend, the heroic cheerleader Kealey Oliver tackles a thief in an Oklahoma mall to prevent the crime. Kealey is a junior cheerleader from Moore High School who acted more like one of the football players on defense, tackling a suspect to the ground. Her brave act allowed the mall security to nab the shoplifter making Kealey a hero.
Kealey was enjoying a typical weekend at the mall like many teens. The sixteen year old girl was talking on her cell phone while at the Penn Square mall. The high school junior saw the shoplifter fleeing from mall security and coming towards her. Oliver said she told her mom to 'hang on' then slammed the guy to the ground. That allowed security to catch up and restrain the suspect. Kealey was also wearing a strapless dress at the time of the tackle, making it a surprising maneuver for the teen to do. Still she showed great bravery in helping prevent a criminal from making a getaway!
Kealey suffered some scrapes and bruises from the takedown of the criminal, but nothing major. Her heroic deed even got fans to start up a Facebook profile honoring her. Kealey Oliver just may be the real life equivalent of Claire Bennett who used to be the invincible cheerleader on the NBC show "Heroes"!
