Alyssa Milano is well known for her roles in "Who's The Boss," "Melrose Place" (as bad girl Jennifer Mancini), and "Charmed." It wasn't one of her on-screen roles that the actress was tweeting about on Wednesday, though.
Instead, the actress sent out a tweet on Wednesday afternoon to her more than a million followers urging them to help kids in need this Halloween by participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.
For 60 years, people have been trick-or-treating for the organization. These days, there are several ways in which people can get involved. Those wishing to participate can order boxes online, pick-up boxes at Toys 'R' Us or Babies 'R' Us, get involved through a Key Club, host a Halloween party, trick-or-treat for UNICEF online, download the organization's new iPhone app, create their own fundraiser, or even text "TOT" to 864233 to make a donation.
Milano is a UNICEF Ambassador and has been involved with the organization for several years now.
