McDonald's Plans to Raise Prices - Will it Cost Them?

Maybe it's good for us.. I mean, do we REALLY need to eat there???

Yes. Since everything will kill us anyway, we should enjoy ourselves instead of being scared out of any kind of pleasure.

and really, if you can get a double cheeseburger for a buck...you should REALLY question its quality...i mean....its a buck!

I haven't bought McDonald's in years. I definately don't plan to change that now that the price for their horrible food will increase. People ought to be paid to eat there and not the other way around!

I don't appreciate how everyone else is trying to take as much as they can out of my already horrible pay by making everything more expensive. I resent how everything goes up, except for wages.

i hear you on that one frank i can not pay for my family of 5 to go there as it is so no i will not be going there after the prices go up

ok yeah for 5 bucks everyone gets a lil burger and 5 more drinks and 5 more fries so that is 15 bucks and everyone is still hungry ...

i can take that same 15 bucks and go to shop and save buy a pack of meat loaf of bread bag of fries and teh fixins for iced tea and go home and have 2 burgers and a bunch of fries and no one is hungry after what would you do ?

It's perfectly fine to raise their prices. I believe mcdonalds prices to be modest anyway. They tend to be cheaper than any of the other fast food chains where I live, so a bit of increase will keep the company open, so be it. Not gonna make me stay away. Arby's makes me stay away, they are rediculously expensive for a fast food place.

Oh, but Arby's does have the best food of all the fast food places. Too bad there's not one closer to here. I think the closest is 45 miles away.

I can still remember all of 10 years ago when you could go to Wendy's and get a Biggie soda or fries for $1. Now it's down to pretty much a small. Dave Thomas is probably rolling in his grave.

I remember that. We'd get a jr bacon cheeseburger, a tato or fries and soda for $3 and it's fill you up.

The world can only become a better place if they put there prices up. Less people eat there... that's gotta be a good thing!

You would wipe that off? Why cut your nose to spite your face? You make no sense! Raise the prices but support the company. Come on! how many people have been served? Well then there. Now you see the truth! McDOnald's is no worst that what you cook at home. They are already too expensive for the food that they serve if you ask me.

McDonald's is some of the most expensive food in the country!

It might seem cheap at the time... but a $50,000 heart attack treatment is SO not worth it. Not to mention the loss of productivity that comes with not getting the right nutrition.

Anyone who does NOT eat at McDonald's is NOT a TRUE AMERICAN! The same people protest everything from the food to the service to even the location (Greece)?!! are the first ones to cry "foul" when the crap hits the fan! Come on! Hey Sam....take some time to look around next time you're in McDonalds....there are alot of un-american things inside...unless you mean by being a REAL american you mean the support of imports that bring money and jobs to people outside of our own country...and also the date you are bragging about isn't even the REAL date...please do some research before you post about being such a REAL american...and your Ford ...well, you probably already know they make fusions in Mexico, so how american of Ford is that???LOL...just a friendly note from one american to another...

McDonalds should find a better way tok make food and use better quality ingredients if they are going to raise prices. Their food is not worth what they expect you to pay for it now, and that goes for any fast food restaurant. I can go to a nice sit down restaurant and eat helthier food for a couple bucks more. And when they raise prices, there probably wont even be a price difference. The only thing worth the price at McDonalds is the Mickeys D's sweet tea which won't be a dollar for long, and the double cheeseburgers are no longer a dollar they are $1.29. You can't even play monopoly with a Sweet tea.
