A 10-year-old girl gave birth in southern Spain, and the father of the baby is a minor as well. The health of the baby is a concern, and the child may not be allowed to maintain custody of the baby.
"The baby was born last week in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, said Micaela Navarro, the Andalusia region's social affairs minister," according to Yahoo News.
The girl is just a baby and seems to have no idea about what is going on, and the father may not even be from Spain. The health of both the child-mother and the baby are in jeopardy. There are legal ramifications here as well if the child had sex under the a
ge of 13, but how and whom do you prosecute?Â
This is so sad, and so unhealthy. There is no word as to whether the grandparents of the baby are capable of caring for the infant, and that's why custody of the infant is being evaluated.
What do you think? It's unimaginable for a 10-year-old to have custody of the baby, but going into a foster system is highly risky as well. What a terrible situation for that infant and the mother.

The 'child' is not equipped to raise the infant and it sounds like this family (if it can be called one) needs some major intervention and restructuring if there is to be any hope for them all
The facts are clear. The parents failed this 10 year old, and it is likely they would fail this infant.
