Authorities are reporting that they have found the missing Ohio family. The bodies of the two missing women and the boy have been located in Knox County. The missing family was located in “the county's northwestern region above Apple Valley†on Thursday. Hearts everywhere have been praying and hoping that the missing Ohio family would be found safe and sound.
This is discouraging news for the family’s loved ones, as well as Americans who have been holding out hope. The Knox County Sheriff’s department held a news conference at 4 pm EST.
On Nov. 10th, the Ohio family went missing. The family included Tina Herrmann, age 32, her 10-year-old son and Herrman’s friend, Stephanie Sprang, age 41.
The family’s 13-year-old daughter went missing, as well. However, Sarah Maynard was located! Authorities found Maynard bound and gagged in the basement of Matthew J. Hoffman’s home. Authorities are not reporting if she had been sexually abused.
However, common sense tells us that if the other family members were killed, he was probably using her sexually. It would make one sick to think of what Hoffman, age 30, was doing to her. So, it is best to just not think of it at all. At least, she was found alive
and she had not been in the animal’s basement for very long. However, any day with an animal would be the worst day of her short life!
The missing family had disappeared from Hermann’s home in Howard, Ohio. When police investigated the home, they found Sprang’s car in their driveway. Knox County Sheriff Barber explained that blood was in the home, which indicated to authorities that an injury had taken place before the family vanished.
Authorities are now saying that they believe Sarah Maynard “had been ‘under the control’ of Hoffman since Nov. 10, when she and her brother last attended school, the sheriff said.†What does “under the control†of mean? Does it mean she was being seduced or brainwashed by Hoffman?
Maynard must have been getting involved in some way with the older man. Folks, this is why Twitter and Facebook is incredibly dangerous to teens and children, especially. The youth of America are hungry for love and attention. And if some pervert on Twitter wants to be friends with one of America’s teens or children, they can easily become a target for a crime.
It just breaks a person’s heart to hear the outcome for this missing Ohio family. May Sarah Maynard be healed and speak out on the dangers of chatting with strangers! Obviously, the commentary is speculation, but regardless chatting with strangers on Twitter and Facebook is not ever a good idea, right?
