After months of wavering, authorities now believe that all of the women who booked their work online were killed by a serial killer. Right now, no suspects have been publicly identified, but police are looking at clients each woman booked shortly before their disappearances.
One of the four women has been missing for almost three-and-a-half years, while another was seen just months ago. Their bodies were all dumped at the same time. Police believe they were killed somewhere else.
Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said, "Their deaths are a direct result of their business as prostitutes. I sincerely hope that people who are engaged in a similar business as these four young women would come forward. They certainly must have some information."
The reason that police have come back to the serial killer theory in these cases is because all four women were killed in a similar manner, which has led authorities to believe that the same person or group of persons are responsible for the murder. So far, police have not revealed how the women died
This possible serial killer on the loose preying on prostitutes in the Northeast is incredibly scary. No matter what these women were doing for a living, they did not deserve to die and be dumped in such a horrible manner.
Hopefully, police will get some tips and leads in these cases, and the murderer will be caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law. The video below gives more details about the ongoing investigation.
