Japan Earthquake - Tsunami Hits Pearl Harbor with Minimal Damage

Al Roker on the Today Show has just reported that the tsunami hits Pearl Harbor with minimal damage.  The tsunami was predicted to hit parts of Hawaii within the 8 a.m. (ET) hour.

Nearly all morning television news programs are reporting on this tragedy in Japan. An earthquake in the country has triggered tsunami warning all over the Pacific

Gene Maestas from the US Coast Guard told Meredith Vieira on the Today Show that there has been no significant impact as of 8:53 a.m. (ET) from the a tsunami wave in Hawaii.

With an important historical landmark, word that the tsunami hits Pearl Harbor with very little impact is fantastic news. The rest of the state must feel the relief of the tsunami passing and can go back to resume their daily lives.

The impact that the earthquake has left on Japan is devastating and the death toll is currently on the rise and quickly increasing.
