Holly Bobo Search Update: The ongoing search for Holly Bobo has been temporarily called off by Tennessee officials. There is a strong front passing through the area and the weather is potentially dangerous. Until the weather clears, officials would prefer that the search be postponed. There is no need in having volunteers out in severe weather.
"We don't want to put [volunteers] at risk," said Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks. "Law enforcement will still be around to respond to anything we find as it comes up." Tornadoes, strong winds, heavy rain and hail would hamper efforts in the Holly Bobo search. It makes sense to ask volunteers to hold off for a day or two. The weather will be improving and the search will continue when it is safe.
According to CBS News, volunteers will return on Thursday. It is important that the volunteers take their time and be careful when searching for new clues or evidence. Any small item could be very important in helping in the Holly Bobo search.
As a reminder, Holly Bobo is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weights 110 pounds and has blond hair. If you hear or see anything that could be helpful, contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
