Brain Aneurysms Caused by Sex, Coffee, Nose Blowing

There is no way I am stopping doing any of those things!

I told my hubby I love my coffee I'll just have to give up everything else and hope for the best. lol

I have known two people who have had aneurysms. My husband had two aneurysms. And both of them came about two days apart. He had the second one in the hospital. He was fifty five years old. He had been a heavy drinker and lived in northern California by the ocean all of his life. The average temperature year round is 56 to 60 degrees, except and occasional 70 in the summer. He decided one day to go visit friends in southern California in the month of June on a day that it was 110. To hot for him and no air conditioning in his little truck. He came home and the next night had the first aneurysm. It was if he had a stroke. He was a tall man, six foot, five and worked in the woods as a loader operator for many years. It lefh him in a wheel chair and he had to have round the clock care for the next five years when he passed away. He was such a good and honest man, and never missed work. I really think him not being used to such heat caused the area where the aneurysm was to swell up and expand, and then later, after he returned home it burst.
The next was a strikingly beautiful young wife and mother, had just gone to bed about 9 pm and she told her husband she was exeriencing a really bad headache and would he get her some water and an aspirin. When he returned she had already suffered the aneurysm and died! Headache, severe headaches are usually the first sign that something is wrong inside your head.
As for giving up coffee that would be so silly. People who drink coffee very seldom develop Alzheimers or Parkinsons disease. Look it up! Coffee drank within the first thirty minutes of brewing is full of wonderful antioxidants. It stimulates you, energizes you and puts you in a great mood. That and a little chocolate and things are great! Chocolate especially dark is really good for you. Look it up! All of you take care. Oh yes, and please blow your noses or you will have an aneurysm and that's for sure! All of you take care.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. His situation certainly lines up with this study's findings. Very scary.

Being a Geriatric nurse for 30 years, I have seen my share of patients with aneurysms, both before and after rupture. Most people who have diagnosed aneurysms can take medications to prevent rupture, and many can be surgically removed successfully, even in the frail elderly.
A CT scan or MRI can diagnose an aneurysm before it becomes problematic.
Those whose aneurysms burst, have indeed had a stroke, or Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA). Brain bleeds are generally caused by burst aneurysms, but not always. A blood clot in another area of the body can break off, travel to the brain and cause a rupture due to the blockage of blood flow.

So what you're saying is if I stroke my boner I might get a stroke?
