Although I do feel for Maddy's parents, I'll never understand why they didn't pay for the babysitting service provided by the resort where they stayed. I admit I thought that was very suspicious, but I'm sure they feel guilty enough about it in hindsight. I do hope Maddy will be returned to them safely someday.
