It's not easy being a cannibal. There's not as much a shortage of meat as there is a stiff penalty for savoring it; and even in the most liberal countries people aren't exactly welcoming of those who nom down on the other, other white meat. That's why one just recently died after getting himself involved in a police shootout. Hey, you were warned by the title, so you must keep reading:
43-year old Matej Curko seemed like an ordinary family man to those who know him. He had a wife and two children and resided in the village of Sokol. He was a computer expert but loved to hunt and was a gun enthusiast. Members of his gun club referred to him as an "ordinary" and "mild-natured," type of person. Well, boy were they just dead wrong! In fact, Matej Curko, the supposed Slovak family man, was a downright disgusting monster who fantasized about dining on the flesh of other human beings.
Actually, he did more than fantasize about it.
Matej Curko placed an advertisement on Craigslist, offering the "service," of murdering, cooking and eating another human being. Weird right? You would figure he wouldn't have gotten any responses, but he did. Among those who responded to him was a Swiss traveler. The Swiss man thought this was just some sick game, so he entertained the thought for a while, but then he spoke to the would-be cannibal on the phone. The conversation must've disturbed him something awful because he instantly called the police and told them everything.
The police initiated an undercover sting operation, using an officer to pose as the Swiss man to stage the meeting with Curko. Well, the evidence was enough for police to barge in and arrest Curko, but not before he opened fire on the law enforcement officers. A cop was wounded and Curko was shot five times. Earlier reports indicated that Curko was expected to survive his gunshot wounds, but come on folks, do you really think any modern society is going to let some cannibal live when they can just let them die? Ponder on that one for a minute, because Matej Curko is now dead.
It's a good thing he is gone, because police discovered freshly dug graves (more than one) on his property in the Slovak region. They greatly suspect that he has done this before, and there may be more victims. So much for seeming like a "mild-natured," and "ordinary," guy right? Here's to hoping he burns in whatever mythological realm he believed in before death.

and if he's catholic, the simple fact that he was shot, which led to his death, gives him a free pass. Murder victims go to heaven according to some scripture.
