Although Holly Bobo hasn't been found, there have been a myriad of arrests stemming from the vigorous searches by police and the TBI. This comes as the first verifiable bit of investigative news in weeks. Holly Bobo, 20, has been missing since April 13th, and is alleged to have been led into the woods by man in camouflage gear. Her brother, Clint Bobo, is the last person to claim to have seen her before her disappearance.
News Channel 5 reports that the intensity of searches undertaken by officials have led to several arrests on unrelated charges since Holly went missing. Police have stumbled upon meth labs, marijuana-growing operations, and other dangerous criminal activities whilst searching for the 20-year-old nursing student.
One arrest in particular was made just days after Holly disappeared from her home in Darden, TN. Registered sex offender, Jason Everett Nickell was arrested on charges of stalking. He reportedly stalked two different women, both aged 19 years old. Nickell has been discussed by various "locals" on message boards regarding the Holly Bobo disappearance, but investigators say he isn't someone they are very concerned with. However, they still stand by their earlier statement that nobody has been ruled out as a supect in this missing persons case.
Investigators are claiming that even though a variety of arrests have stemmed from the publicity and searches for Holly Bobo, there are still no concrete leads or updates in her particular case. She hasn't been found yet, and no new evidence has been found since Easter weekend. It's curious that Jason Everett Nickell has recently stalked girls in Holly's age group, but it's probably safer to say he isn't guilty of anything related to this case. Investigators have him in custody for his crimes and are not acknowledging him as a person of interest. Still, his name is slandered relentlessly by people who claim to live in the Parsons area.
Until Holly is found or some new evidence is released, nobody knows anything. It's already been considered that a marijuana operation could have something to do with Holly, although the idea seems far-fetched. Still, marijuana is grown illegally throughout the region from which Holly Bobo disappeared.
