Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, took the stand during day four of the Caylee Anthony murder trial. During Cindy's testimony, the grandmother broke into tears while looking a photo of her late granddaughter.
Emotions ran wild inside the courtroom on Saturday afternoon, as Casey Anthony's mother and Caylee's grandma, Cindy Anthony, looked absolutely heartbroken over the loss of her only grandchild.
Cindy and Casey both cried as the elder Anthony described her last day with Caylee Anthony. Cindy had revealed that she spent the entire day with her granddaughter, and that she missed the child like crazy. However, Cindy and Casey did not make eye contact, nor speak with one another.
At one point during Cindy's testimony, she asked the prosecution to remove the photo of Caylee from her eyesight, as she was extremely emotional and looking physically drained. Poor Cindy has not only lost her grandchild, but her daughter as well, in what has been every woman's nightmare.
Mrs. Anthony tried to power through her testimony as best she could. Finally, around 1 p.m., the judge dismissed the jury, which seemed to work in favor of Cindy Anthony who looked broken. The Casey Anthony trial will resume on Tuesday.
