A missing teen, Merissa Kay Reddig, was last seen on Saturday getting into a creme-colored BMW with two black men. This mysterious disappearance is causing a panic in the Twin Cities area. The Cambridge Police Department is documenting Reddig as an endangered missing adult.
Merissa is 18 years old, 5'3" and about 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and brown hair. She may or may not be wearing eyeglasses if she is seen. When she was last seen getting into the car with these men, she had a friend with her. News sources are making sure to refer to her as a "vulnerable" adult, for unknown reasons. This may (or may not) have been a case of kidnapping. It isn't published whether or not she got into this vehicle willingly.
The police are asking for help from the public in finding this 18-year-old female who is missing during a time of frequent disappearances. Too many women have come up missing in the past few months such as Michelle Le, Lauren Spierer, and Holly Bobo. None of these cases seem to be related, but this story serves as another eye-opener. Hopefully this young woman is found safe.
