Casey Anthony will not be sitting down for a chat with any of the large networks anytime soon. According to sources close to Anthony, she will be pursuing assistance for critical mental health issues instead.
There is no question that Anthony's behavior was consistently disturbing and even puzzling, both prior to and during her infamous murder trial. There was never a hint however, that Anthony herself suspected that her behavior was way beyond the scope of typical of a mother suffering the loss of a child. Is this a sincere effort on the part of Casey Anthony to finally seek a remedy for bizarre and at times criminal conduct or a public relations ploy set up to extract empathy?
Anthony addresses three reason for seeking treatment
Reportedly Anthony is seeking mental health care to address three specific issues. Anthony allegedly recognizes that her behavior after her daughter Caylee went missing more than three years ago were consequences of "obvious mental health issues."
Anthony also feels she needs help with coping with the trauma of losing her daughter.
Finally, the approximately three years that Anthony spent as a Florida inmate facing serious charges in solitary confinement has apparently "messed with her head."
Casey Anthony interview: Not now or not ever?
Apparently, Anthony's intentions towards prospective interviews are not to reject them entirely, but to merely postpone. Her attorney Jose Baez, for his part, will continue to act on his client's behalf and field all cash offers for future consideration.
