A man who was missing for 27 years has been found, dead, in a chimney. No one knows how he got stuck in there and evidently no one heard him yell for help—he just "disappeared" never to be seen again—until now.
"Nearly three decades after he disappeared, much mystery lingers about the case of Joseph Schexnider and involving a small town bank in the southern Louisiana city of Abbeville. Police say Schexnider became trapped and apparently died in the bank's chimney in 1984. But beyond that, they know little more," CBS reports.
His family is grateful to have found him and are planning a service for him that includes a proper burial. It certainly sounds like there was some funny business going on—who gets stuck in a chimney?—however, reports claim that there was no smell, and no one had any idea. So how was the man found now? In May, construction began on the building and alas the bones of Schexnider were discovered! Simply amazing!
