Did Michele Bachmann's husband physically attack CNN reporter?

Michele Bachmann's husband allegedly physically attacked a CNN reporter. So why would Marcus Bachmann have a problem with Don Lemon?

Lemon reported that he was shoved by members of Bachmann's campaign team at an event in Des Moines. He was asking the congresswoman how she thought she did at the debate on Thursday when he was elbowed by members of her team. When he asked them to stop, Marcus Bachmann joined in by elbowing him into a cart. Don Lemon then pointed out what Marcus had done, but the congresswoman's husband told Lemon that he did it himself.

But how could Don Lemon possibly push himself into a cart? Perhaps Marcus Bachmann meant that Don had brought the incident upon himself by asking his wife a tough question. Or maybe the man that Michele Bachmann has to be submissive to pushed Don for another reason -- he's gay.

The CNN anchor recently made the choice to let the world know that he is a gay man, and he was applauded by many for the decision. However, Marcus Bachmann doesn't think that coming out of the closet is something to be proud of. In fact, his counseling center Bachmann & Associates practices reparative therapy to "cure" homosexuality. He's called gay men and women "barbarians," so if he knew that Don Lemon is gay, it's fairly obvious that he would not be a fan.

Of course, there have been plenty of gay jokes about Michele Bachmann's husband coming from the likes of Jon Stewart, and it's not hard to see why his own sexuality is being questioned. After all, if he thinks that homosexual men and women are making a choice to be gay and that their minds can be changed, he must believe that he's making the choice to be straight.
