The Forest Boy's grandparents have suddenly surfaced after the boy has been stirring hearts all over the world for over a month now. Where have they been? Has Forest Boy been lying all along about his living in the wilderness for five years?
The Forest Boy mysteriously showed up in Berlin, Germany, on September 5th. His stories have been outright unbelievable. But now the Forest Boy's grandparents have decided to prove that their grandson is not really a wilderness teen. Police have asked the grandparents to prove their relation to the Forest Boy via a DNA test.
Forest Boy's grandparents are aiming to prove that their grandson should come back with them to Switzerland. If the DNA results prove his genetic relation to his grandparents, then the story was most likely a hoax.
But why would Forest Boy lie to authorities in Germany? What would he have to gain? Attention and fame? Well, he certainly gained lots of attention and fame from his wilderness story. He had people's hearts all over the world suffering for the 17-year-old lad.
Authorities in Berlin became suspicious of the Forest Boy when he claimed his father had died during his wilderness adventure, but he failed to locate his father's grave where he (supposedly) buried him.
After police searched for records for his mother's automobile accident, this investigation also proved to show no information. Hmm?
The 17-year-old teen explained that he lived in a tent for 5 years, but when he produced the tent, it was barely worn. Of course, a tent that had survived the elements for many years would be worse for the wear. Busted!
Results will soon divulge if Forest Boy's grandparents are truthful about his identity. Do you think the boy is lying, or does he maybe suffer from amnesia or insanity if the results prove he is from Switzerland and is kin to the older couple?

This story is going to be sad no matter how it turns out. Kudos to the grandparents for coming forward. That took guts I am sure.
