Kansas City, Missouri police are searching a nearby pond for missing baby Lisa Irwin. The body of water, located not far from the baby's family's home, is just the latest step in the almost month-long investigation into the 11-month-old's disappearance.
According to a report from Fox News, police say the search of this pond isn't based on any specific evidence or on any new tips. It is simply the next phase in their ongoing investigation.
If Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, parents of the missing child, aren't somehow responsible for their daughter's disappearance, it must be awfully disheartening to learn that authorities are searching a body of water for their child. Popular belief seems to indicate, however, that Deborah Bradley knows more than she is sharing about her baby girl's disappearance. Do you think that's true?
A news conference and media walk-through of Lisa Irwin's parent's home that had been scheduled for Thursday was cancelled suddenly. The parents cited 'exhaustion' as their reason for the change in plans.
If your baby was missing, do you think exhaustion would prevent you from exercising every possible available means of circulating information that could help the case? It would seem that even if they appeared on camera disheveled and in dirty clothing, it would be well worth their efforts to talk about Lisa Irwin and her disappearance.
While one certainly doesn't want to learn that authorities have turned up something during Thursday's investigation of the pond near baby Lisa Irwin's home, it would certainly give a new slant to this investigation. Someone knows what happened to baby Lisa and where she--or sadly her little body--is located. If her parents want to clear their own names, they had best change their attitudes and levels of cooperation.
How do you think this entire case of missing baby Lisa Irwin is going to turn out? What is your gut telling you?
