Sky Metalwala Update — Sister Belongs with Missing Boy's Father

The sister of Sky Metalwala has been in foster care since her little brother vanished under suspicious circumstances. Since she's been taken in by the state, hundreds of messages have been pouring in, in support of Solomon Metalwala.

Maile Metalwala is the four-year-old sister of missing Bellevue boy, Sky Metalwala. She was who Julie Biryukova took walking with her the morning she reported her two-year-old son missing. She told police that the car had run out of gas, so she and Maile walked over a mile away to retrieve gas, leaving the two-year-old child in the backseat of the car.

Suspecting the mother from the beginning, police have had four-year-old Maile out of her custody ever since the early days of the investigation. Since then, the state of Washington has had literally hundreds of letters coming in, supporting the reunion of Solomon Metalwala and his daughter. The father of Sky Metalwala should be able to see his daughter. It doesn't appear that he was connected in any way with the child's disappearance, so he is only being further punished by not being able to see his other child. In fact, it's been reported that he hadn't seen baby Sky in at least two weeks leading up to his disappearance.
