A Polish woman described how she used her engagement ring to save herself after her fiancé had buried her alive. How ironic that this symbol of their commitment ended up being what kept her alive.
According to Michelina Lewandowska, her fiancé Marcin Kasprzak tasered her, tied her up using tape, put her into a box, and took her out and buried her alive. What a horrible situation! Can you even imagine something like this happening? Thankfully, Lewandowska had on her small engagement ring, and ultimately that saved her from a horrible death.
Lewandowska was in a horrible situation, and yet she was able to use her engagement ring to actually cut through the tape, cut herself out of the box and then dig herself out of the soil he had buried her in. What a huge will to live and escape she had. The ring was small, but it worked to help her get out alive. Ultimately, she flagged down a car and got a ride home.
Now, Marcin Kasprzak is on trial for the crime, and Michelina Lewandowska has testified against him. Can you blame her? He obviously deserves a stiff punishment for this crazy crime. Why would he do something like this to somebody he had promised to marry? Thank goodness he left his fiance's engagement ring on her finger. It sounds like a terrible crime. Hopefully the Leeds Crown Court jury finds an appropriate punishment, and the woman is able to overcome the fear she must feel after this misdeed.
