While baby Sky Metalwala remains missing from the Bellevue, WA area there are some new developments pertaining to his story. However, these updates are regarding his father, Solomon Metalwala.
Sources say that a group of activists believe that Solomon Metalwala is the victim of "family courts bias." This is regarding how touchy domestic violence accusations can be. During his rocky divorce from the mother of Sky Metalwala, Julie Biryukova, he was accused of domestic violence by the woman. Because of all of this, Solomon couldn't get custody immediately of his children. Since then, it's been pretty much established that this child disappeared under Julie's care, and not under the care of his father.
So could the court's bias of sending the children immediately with their "mother" be what led to the child's disappearance? You see, had Solomon Metalwala been granted custody in the first place, his children would still be here and with him. Now, he only has his 4-year-old daughter, Maile, who was malnourished and underweight when she left her mother's custody after her 2-year-old brother's mysterious disappearance.
It would be interesting to see what comes of these claims made by activists. But it would also be interesting to see if Julie Biryukova ever surfaces to speak to the public. It's been several months now since Sky vanished and she hasn't spoken a word to the media. Hopefully she is under intense watch by detectives.

Just by reading this story, I'm 99% sure it came from a coached Solomon &/or his lawyer. Thus, my 'press release' description. There's a reason why Solomon hasn't seen his kids since 12/10/2010. Don't listen to the 'Spin Doctor' being told almost 1-year after. Plain & simple. Solomon's Support Payments STOPPED! Maile & Sky were/are within their BMI. I have nieces that are the same low end of the BMI, just like Maile. Look at Sky's pictures of him eating watermelon at the Veloce Apt. The courts were not biased. They weighed the evidence presented and ruled. Ask about Solomon's brother's threats to KILL Julia. Ask Solomon to open up his facebook. I'm not a father, but I can't imagine not being able to see my kids. Did Solomon call Sky on his birthday, October 02, 2012?
A child goes missing in his mother's care and you want to know if he was called on his birthday by his father? Interesting. The courts weren't biased because the child ate watermelon?

You, I, and everyone pretty much know the events of November 06, 2011, and the story told by Julia didn't add up. But, there are reasons behind her actions. WE don't know, so WE shouldn't judge. From what I'm reading, a lynch mob wants to punish Julia. What if Julia, Maile, and Sky were an "At Risk Family" that was running away, from fears of returning to a dangerous living environment? The courts based there ruling on the the pictures of abuse, testimony of witnesses, etc. WE are just spectators of this ugly divorce gone out of control. I ask again ... Did Solomon call Sky on his birthday, October 02, 2011?

It appears to me that the child was at the least neglected in the woman's care, and not in Solomon's care. That's just a fact. You can speculate on your own about the (dismissed) domestic violence accusations, but I will commentate on the (confirmed) child neglect evidence.
Whether or not a father called his son on his birthday holds no bearing over where the child is, what happened to him, who did it, or why. It's a non-issue. Given the evidence in this case, and the evasive/elusive nature of Julie Biryukova -- Solomon's phone habits are hardly a point.

I more than [Like] Gather's news stories, except this one. In the future, please FACT CHECK what is being said, dig for the TRUTH, ask the difficult questions, then write the story. Don't just regurgitate what comes from a prepared, cookie cutter, press release. There's MORE to this story than what WE are being told!
