A 6-legged lamb was born in Georgia, and it has garnered international attention. The unusual animal was also born with both male and female sex organs. Amazingly, the creature is healthy.
The little lamb was born in Velistsikhe, Georgia. Four of its six legs are in the front, and two legs are in the back. According to its shepherd Albert Abadzhanov the 6-legged lamb is actually having a bit of trouble walking with the two extra legs, which is not that surprising. He has been a shepherd for 25 years, and he said he has never seen another lamb like this one. Because of this, he said, "I have been asking the other shepherds, but none of them remember such [a] case. There were three-legged lambs, one-eyed, but not [a] six legged, bisexual one."
It's very interesting that this lamb was born this way. A veterinarian thinks the animal may have began as twins, but the two joined, which is what helped create such an unusual animal. Because the ewe is so unusual, the entire world is interested in it. Hopefully it overcomes its walking difficulties and is able to live a healthy life.
Right now there is no word on if the shepherd will do anything to help the lamb get around any better. Have you ever seen an unusual animal like this little animal in Georgia?
