The only suspect in the disappearance of Michelle Parker has been awarded back child support funds that he had paid during the beginning of the woman's case. Dale Smith Jr. had been paying child support to the woman's account while it was obviously going unused. Since he's had custody of their twins for several weeks now, it's unreasonable for him to be paying these funds to a woman who is missing and doesn't have custody of their children.
Still, there are probably some people who are outraged by this entire ordeal. He's the only suspect in this mysterious case, so that automatically brings people to believe that he is guilty of harming Michelle Parker or having something to do with her disappearance.
Maybe the evidence adds up to detectives on this case, but the details that have been released to the media don't necessarily point to Dale Smith Jr. Sure, the guy has a criminal past (who doesn't anymore?) and it's suspicious that he and her had just appeared on an episode of The People's Court, but wouldn't he have to be completely stupid to pull off a murder or kidnapping after all of that? That's beside the point, at any rate. What's important is that Michelle Parker is still missing, and there have still been no arrests. Maybe detectives in Orlando were a little hasty in naming Dale as a suspect in this case?
On Sunday there will be a poker-themed fundraiser in the missing woman's honor to help raise money for more searching. These kind of cases are extremely draining on the families of missing persons. It's expensive to undertake several searches and to keep awareness in the public eye when someone is missing. There are so many several people missing in the United States, that trying to keep one in the headlines is taxing.
