A woman in England claims to have found the UFO fireball meteor which blazed across the UK skies on Saturday night. The kicker? She was out walking her dog.
Northern England was abuzz on Sunday with thousands reporting seeing a streaking fireball shoot across the sky on Saturday evening. One intrepid amateur astronomer even caught a lucky shot of the meteor streaking past his webcam.

Of course, many people thought they were seeing a real UFO, but it turned out to be a run-of-the-mill heavenly object burning up on entry into the atmosphere. That's where Joanne Pain, from Redcar, England comes in.
She claims she found the rock after taking her dog out for a walk on Sunday.
"We've looked it up on the internet and it looks like one. It's heavy and it has what looks like 'small white chondrules' described on the internet."
Lucky miss! Scientists have yet to confirm the rock as a meteor, or even the one that scared so many Brits over the weekend. Either way, it should make quite a conversation piece!
