The homicide of Karen Swift out of Dyer County, Tennessee is still unsolved and it seems that the investigators on this case are taking their sweet time while refusing to reveal vital details that may or may not be useful to the public. The latest update in the once missing woman's case comes with the revelation that her autopsy is finally complete. It's been since December that her body had even been found and confirmed as a homicide case. First of all, it's maddening that it has taken this long to complete an autopsy, but that's not the most irritating part of this.
The autopsy results of the homicide of Karen Swift are sealed. Her cause of death is not being revealed by authorities, keeping this case a complete mystery as far as the media and public is concerned. But, why are they choosing to go this route? Wouldn't releasing some of the details of the Tennessee woman's death be helpful in solving the case?
Perhaps investigators are finding connections to this case and the disappearance of 21-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo, who vanished just about an hour away from Karen Swift, several months prior. Could the state of Tennessee be dealing with a crime issue far more threatening than a few rogue murderers? Perhaps, and keeping the details of these cases sealed won't help in answering that question anytime soon.
