The search for missing teen Sierra Lamar has expanded to a 12-mile radius, which was combed this weekend by several volunteers, dogs, and investigative officials. The 15-year-old girl has now been missing for almost nine days, and there has been no word of her since she vanished. The only definitive evidence in the young lady's case is the discovery of her purse and a bag containing urine-stained clothing, which police say do not indicate whether or not she had run away or had been abducted.
While it's apparent that the 12-mile search radius hasn't produced any evidence yet, it's important that the search for Sierra Lamar continues. There is no telling where this young girl is, and with each day that passes, the odds of finding her alive are slimmer and slimmer.
However, is a 12-mile radius big enough after she's been missing for over a week? There's no telling what happened or who's responsible, and just like the brutal slaying of 13-year-old Jessica Funk-Haslam, there have been no suspects or persons of interest named. Have detectives taken a focus on any of the surrounding towns or outlying areas? Have they looked into whether or not the father has an alibi for that morning? Yes, he has asked that people not focus on the fact that he's a registered offender, but everyone involved should be looked at under a microscope until this young woman is brought home or justice is served for whatever may have happened to her.
