The search for missing cheerleader Sierra LaMar hasn't produced any fruitful leads as far as media headlines are indicating. However, it's being reported that the crime lab is currently testing the items that have been found for forensic evidence. That possibly includes the handcuff box and used condoms found during a recent search for the missing Morgan Hill teen.
In under a week it will be the one month anniversary of the disappearance of Sierra LaMar. The 15-year-old missing cheerleader was last seen in the early morning hours of March 16, 2012 before supposedly heading to her school bus stop on foot. She never made it to the bus stop that morning and hasn't been seen since. During the course of the past month there have been very few items and updates indicating her whereabouts or whether or not she is even alive and safe. It took law enforcement two weeks before they would acknowledge that this young woman has been abducted.
Where is Sierra and why has it been almost an entire month now since she vanished? Unfortunately, it appears that many cases go in this direction and it's absolutely frightening to sense that this could become an unsolved case. Fortunately the FBI is assisting, and the family has offered a reward, but nothing has lent to finding this young woman.
More searches are being planned for her, but it isn't looking very optimistic right now. Hopefully these searches eventually pan out, but without even a suspect or any information on what may have happened to her, it seems like this is going to take a long time, and the longer it takes the less likely it gets that Sierra LaMar is safe.
